Honor belongs to those,
Who do firmly believe;
The blessing that flows,
They will surely receive.
The stone builders reject,
Becomes a cornerstone;
A stone who will select,
Who will come to His throne.
A stone that some will trip,
And will find offensive;
Or a poison they sip,
Finding it repulsive.
But a picture of grace,
To have a better world;
That God wants to embrace,
As His plan is unfurled.
For you are the chosen,
The ones that He selects;
As we learn our lesson,
That another rejects.
In the royal priesthood,
Of a holy nation;
We stand where He has stood,
For our salvation.
He called us from the dark,
To His marvelous light;
So when we do embark,
We can speak what is right.
So we are foreigners,
Living on planet earth;
No longer prisoners,
To any sinning birth.
