The Rain The Dark Among All Things®
Once there was such a light show
you couldn't believe your eyes,
giving off the biggest glow
leaving all in awe with sighs!
How very hard to believe something
so beautiful could ever stop,
and only dark clouds showing
while endless tears from them drop!
For now there's just 1 lonely burn out star
that exists in the shadow of the sun,
in a world of its own by far
since darkness took the sparkles every one!
It tries and tries to shine away
but nothing seems to come to light,
the moon refuses to come out and play
not wanting company with such a sorry sight!
