My Dear River

My Dear River

I wonder by my impulse how you
Did till you met the sea
Weren't you sheer course of water
But nourished on separate identity pleasure
Herculean task, but you were lost in tiny mask

Those birds and cattle you left them thirsty
Soil nearby dry and cracky
You did not touch her heart
Her hope you could not crop
It could not suck even a drop

Fish sought shelter under boulder
Aspirant life you could not shoulder
Plants and vanes you left dried on the bank
My dear river
This is miser account of your bank
In the sea you simply sank
