'' It's The Doctor That's Mad ''

I visited the doctor,
He thinks I'm a nutter,
Pink elephants aren't real,
I heard him mutter.

I begged to differ,
I know they're true,
For believe it or not,
There's one beside you.

The doctor said nonsense,
I said there's now three,
He asked is there four,
I didn't agree.

Next time I looked,
There was a full herd,
He said you're insane,
This needs to be shared.

He called in his assistant,
Who turned and ran,
What the hell's wrong?
He said I need a scan.

The doctor asked why,
He said are you blind?
Those elephants beside you,
Can be very unkind.

They are very dangerous,
They can trample your toes,
The doc took a drink,
He said on you this grows.

Before very long,
He could see what we seen,
Saying this is beautiful,
I can see what you mean.

But I think there's a problem,
Though they're not on your list,
I can see blue giraffes,
They're here in our midst.

Pink elephants yes,
Blue giraffes? that's quite sad,
Our diagnosis,
