'' Isn't Faith But Hope In Disguise ''

Faith is blind,
It can be unkind,
As it's something none of us can see,
It can set up the ties that bind,
Yet refuse to set you free.

What you believe is true?
Is that up to you,
Loyalty can be a double-edged sword,
Have you thought your allegiance through?
Does it fit in with your accord?

People have bled,
Some are easily led,
It is truly a power to behold,
It can and does fill some with dread,
When the facts then start to unfold.

Though it's uncouth,
We hide from the truth,
Even after the appearance of cracks,
Can you honestly stand in the witness booth?
Then deny what are hard facts.

The invisible man,
Drives a van,
I know now you think I'm crazy,
He also has a wonderful tan,
Is this information too hazy?

Isn't it odd,
You believe in a God,
Not one of us has ever seen,
Like him above the facts are flawed,
It's the human mind you demean.

Is there a Heaven or Hell?
Who can tell?
They say you'll find out when you go,
Believing in either is their big sell,
If there's not you will never know.

What you believe,
Though it can relieve,
It can also cause concern,
Truth is it can make you grieve,
When finally the truth you learn.

Do not feel fear,
Yes you are here,
Fantasy tales the truth always belies,
To believers I ask you to make it clear,
