Seems that there will always be some type of war.
War between nations have been waged galore.
Feuds between families have never declined.
Peace makers get harder and harder to find.
Tempers are time bombs all set to explode.
Harsh words are firing from life’s overload.
Discontentment seems destined to ever increase…
But there is a solution for those seeking peace.
When the weight of the world gets too heavy to hold…
When circumstances seem totally out of control…
When the enemy takes those we’ve trusted to use…
When we simply can’t take one more act of abuse…
Then we must seek the Savior…must fall at His feet…
Because He has promised to make life complete.
Yes, wars and the whiplash are hard to condone…
But peace is a promise we can depend on!
Peace is stronger than war when given full reign…
Breaks through enemy lines to overtake that domain.
It’s a matter of strategy…matter of prayer…
It’s knowing that Jesus will always be there.
God sent us His peace in the form of a man…
The print of His purchase is placed in each Hand.
We’re connected to comfort that never will cease
If we are abiding in the pure Prince of Peace.

~~AUTHOR'S NOTE~~
In Sunday's sermon my Bishop pointed out that
Jesus' first words to His disciples after His resurrection
were "Peace be with you." God is concerned that we
all live in peace...peace is important. No matter what
we have or are going through, we can still experience
the true peace of God. That peace is brought to us by
the Lord Jesus Christ....the true Prince of Peace. It's
a peace we may not fully understand or can explain..
but it carries us through any tragedy or ill that may
befall us. How I thank God for this soul soothing
peace!!!
Isaiah 9:6-
For a child will be born to us, a son will be given
to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
John 14:27
"Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you;
not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your
heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.”
John 16:33
"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me
you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation,
but take courage; I have overcome the world."
2 Thessalonians 3:16-
Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually
grant you peace in every circumstance.
The Lord be with you all!
Philippians 4:6-7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything
by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let
your requests be made known to God. And the
peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension,
shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
