Turn Your ear towards me,
As to hear my plea;
Oppressed and in need,
My request I plead.
For I am sincere,
Want to persevere;
Please give me more strength,
For that extra length;
I remain as true,
And faithful to You;
I am who You trust,
Protect me from lust.
For You are my God,
I honor and laud;
One and no other,
Heavenly Father.
Have pity on me,
For I cannot see;
Knowing You are kind,
Please help someone blind.
I call out to You,
For I would like to;
Feel joy in my soul,
With You in control.
You help my living,
Always forgiving;
Whenever I share,
Any faults in prayer.
I know in essence,
Bow in Your presence;
As I give my love,
To You up above.
