definitions:

change is in the wind
change is in my bones
change is in how I see
change is how it is in everything
that be,
oh, how,
that's change.

angst is in the sky
angst is in my heart
angst is in the stranger's eyes
angst is felt everywhere as a beating pulse.
why cry?
that's angst.

hate is in the mouth
hate is in the withering look
hate is within the maddened crowd.
hate is in every word, notion,
rehashed and served, daily,
from north west east and south
by bad corporate crooks.

do you relate?
that's hate.

mistrust is in their words
mistrust is in the public camera lens
mistrust is a super flu full blown
flourishing past the point of cure
mistrust is our demise if
we don't compromise or bend.
that's mistrust.

love is not only a verb or noun
love is possible wherever you look
love is as affective as wildfire
as it thickly spreads its roots.
love is a commandment we forsook,
yet upon which all of creation depends.

May there be a time for love
that exists and
never ends,
that we may prove
to whom and what is wrong,
say it once again, amen.

A prayer.
That's love.
