How to begin... By EDWIN FLORES, www.PoetryPoem.com/poetry2231 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Alone was yours the task to care
With love you'd tend what life would tear
Your heart tinsel of color Gold
Countless your tears unseen, untold
Six you'd give a piece of you
Six still here that miss you too
Your place in life would make its home
Inside children now fully grown
Yet still the child inside your brood
Reflects on things when you withdrew
On loan to us to teach and raise
Appreciate, each other praise
For life is what you gave to live
To love another and too forgive
This day in May brings you again
To mind, to earth, our true Godsend
Your best mother to heart and mind
Such love and grace of your life time
Six miss laughter and point of view
Six hurt at times where in you drew
How to survive and maintain strong
Survive the worse with things go wrong
You raising more than your own
Grandchildren too inside them sown
The seeds of love, of not alone
Love to keep and to atone
How to begin to tell of you
The moments hard and your breakthroughs
The least thought of at times to fend
Your heart and ours you‘d always mend
These words fall short of your presence
While here on Earth such effervescence
Is found only in moms God made
Mother like you, our heart would save
Happy Mothers Day to you and yours
Where to begin...
