Mom, I know Heaven is for real...
I know that’s where you are.
I can hear your whispers in the wind...
Your memory travels far.
You’re there yet you’re right here with me
And you never will depart.
You may live in Heaven’s holy realm
Yet you still live in my heart.
I know whom you believed in...
I believe in your God, too.
I believe that He’s prepared a place
And I’ll soon be joining you.
I’ve missed our mother-daughter talks...
I’ve missed the sight of you...
Your dimpled smile and laughing eyes...
The tender heart I knew.
While we had our disagreements,
We never disagreed too long,
And it never really mattered much
Who was right and who was wrong.
I’ve missed the many Mother’s Days...
As any caring child supposes....
Just watching your whole face light up
When your children brought you roses.
Mom, I will always honor you
It’s my wish and it’s God’s way.
I’ve written this poem just for you...
Have a Heavenly Happy Mother’s Day.

"Honor your father and your mother,
so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.
Proverbs 31: 10, 25-30
Who can find a virtuous woman? She is far
more precious than jewels...
Strength and honor are her clothing, and she can
laugh at the time to come.
She opens her mouth with wisdom, and loving
instruction is on her tongue.
She watches over the activities of her household
and is never idle.
Her sons rise up and call her blessed.
He husband also praises her:
Many women are capable, but you
surpass them all!
Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman
who fears the Lord will be praised.
