QUIET SOLITUDE






 QUIET SOLITUDE



This is where I come to
When I want to be alone,
Far from the crowds and noise
And I can`t be reached by `phone.



Here I can reminisce
In quiet solitude,
All alone with my thoughts
My mood being quite subdued.

         

The rain hides my tears
And the dark skies match my mood
I think of you and I
And our time that I valued.



I see you everywhere
I can feel your warm caress,
I taste your kisses too
When your love you did express.

         

My name upon your lips
How my heart it did enthral,
Such sweet memories
Are things that I do recall.



But now I feel so sad
Because you`re not by my side,
I know our luck will change
It will turn just like the tide.
