Always be joyful in the Lord,
Show that He is loved and adored;
So rejoice in the Lord always,
And honor Him with joyous praise.
Be joyful in all that you do,
With each and every day through;
Show how considerate you are,
You will shine brightly as a star.
Never worry the Lord is near,
Show trust in Him and be sincere;
So do not worry anything,
For the protection He will bring.
Let the Lord be your foundation,
And in every situation;
Let Him know what your need in prayer,
Give thanks with the problems you share.
Prayer requests while giving cheers,
Asking the Lord to calm your fears;
Then His peace that goes well beyond,
An understanding to respond.
Because we cannot comprehend,
With no beginning or no end;
For we can only imagine,
Something that begins and is done.
Just guard your emotion and thought,
Through Jesus and what His blood bought;
For your sins have been wiped away,
For all of the times that you stray.
So keep your thoughts on what is right,
Also deserves praise in the light;
Things that are true and fair and pure,
All that is resisting the lure.
