Let the Heavens declare,
The glory of the Lord;
Let us rightfully share,
The love for He is adored.
The sky shows what He made,
Through His voice and His hands;
Stars spread and gently laid,
Just as He did command.
One day tells a story,
That proceeds through the night;
As night shares in the glory,
That the day reflects light.
Knowledge shared without word,
Without voices or talk;
No sound is being heard,
Across the sky they walk.
Yet sound has come from earth,
A tent stands for the sun;
For rest when dawn gives birth,
The time when night is done.
From the tent comes the groom,
Preparing for the day;
But storm clouds full of gloom,
Looks for the bride to stray.
The sun comes from the east,
The storm clouds from the west;
Like a thundering beast,
Trying to do its best.
The sun breaks through the clouds,
To ruin a grim day;
And as the cheering crowds,
Rids light shades of gray.
For the radiant beams,
Warms both the heart and soul;
Makes wiser as it seems,
Allowing God in control.
