From the power of darkness,
The Lord has rescued us;
From despair and distress,
Yet we still raise a fuss.
To the Kingdom God brought,
The Kingdom of His Son;
For through Him we were bought,
That victory is won.
The Son has paid the price,
For tickets to Heaven;
Blood through His sacrifice,
So sins are forgiven.
Christ is the image of,
The invisible God;
Filled with the peace and love,
As we honor and laud.
Firstborn of creation,
And created all things;
Setting the foundation,
For the church that He brings.
He created all things,
That are seen and unseen,
Those with legs and with wings,
That is now and has been.
Whether if king or lord,
Any ruling power;
God cannot be ignored,
And not hide or cower.
God existed before,
Everything you see;
And all behind the door,
Unseen and that will be.
Jesus Christ is the head,
And body of the church;
The beginning that fed,
Us the life that we search.
