THE WAY TO GO

THE WAY TO GO

When something in our life happens
Over which we have no control,
It can turn our life upside down
It can destroy our very soul.

We may feel bitter and helpless
And resentment may play its part,
But there`s one thing I know for sure
That it will tear our heart apart.

What has happened can`t be undone
There`s no going back to how things were,
So all our wishing makes us think
That life is really so unfair.

No matter what we try to do
Nothing will ever be the same,
We can`t change what has gone before
But peace of mind should be our aim.

We can`t go back and that is that!
So let us do the next best thing,
Move forward is the way to go
And peace of mind it may bring.
