OPTICAL ELUSIVE
The dagger dove deeper
yet, there would be no bottom
...no light, nor darkness dwells
-nothingness, swallows this space
Just a depravity region
a chamber of sorrow
where a contrast begins
and ends... with no color
The flesh would be laced together
by the shredded heart strings
Those lacy things that which hangs
from being broken and forgotten
The pang in the distance
tears thru the lining
and a pin light glints
...on the other side
the palette of ebony
I've tried to dismantle
my belief, by rewiring
too many contradictions
and memoirs
Those at war with me, their moral compass
shattered
into an legion of weapons...
The bell in a faraway place
well have froze in time-
as the cold has burned their lineage
I remember a paisley sky
and that oxygen, essential to life
There is a slight residue
where the stars were aligned
if ever found...
I shall stand up
...and move thru that narrow
passage
To which a small particle remains
blended of hope, faith and love
-by GOD
