THE OLDER YOU GET THE BETTER YOU WUZ

I told my wife and kids
Not to post my obituary
When I die!

That way each morning
I don't have to read
If in there am I!

Put no flowers on my grave
Nor immortalize
the things in the man cave

Each morning when you wake up
Drinking coffee from your favorite cup
The older I got the better I wuz
Our love well survive just because

Not from things you knew in the past
Those are not the things that last
If I'm not there to mow the lawn
Life is short the things that linger on

Life is short time lingers on
Now Petticoat Dictator mow the lawn
These are things you well remember about me
Even gone humor there must be!
Not words written in an obituary
