Seek the Lord as to find,
While gentle and kind;
Call Him when He is near,
In prayer to be sincere.
Let evil quit their ways,
And seek the Lord these days;
The wicked stop their thought,
Of iniquities caught.
So return to the Lord,
His Word not be ignored;
He will show compassion,
To those with confession.
Return to our God,
To purify where flawed;
He will freely forgive,
For to righteously live.
His thoughts are not the same,
As to what you proclaim;
His way is not as yours,
You are pulled in by lures.
Heaven higher than earth,
And has a higher worth;
Then His ways higher too,
More than you can construe.
Rain and snow come from sky,
Maybe you wonder why;
So they water the earth,
Letting seed to give birth.
Of course the farmers know,
Needing to let them grow;
Then can harvest the field,
For an abundant yield.
