Your eyes speak with such a clarity
intensity of fragrance above all roses
is to breathe in the forever of your gaze
inspiring the death of all others.
The life of intense fragility closing;
then opening like the buds of Spring.
You hold in your hands of tenderness
the ability to overrun the walls,

to surmount the cities' defenses.
Your eyes continually hypnotize
counting the centuries of forever as mine.
I don't know what it is about your eyes
but I only need a moment in your presence
to know that your eyes paint with colors
over the canvas of my soul and create
masterpieces at night when I count the stars.
