No Short Cuts To Heaven
No one takes a short cut to heaven,
as they say a home of Heavenly bliss
No one is rushing to kick down death's door,
whose rooting in line to get on that list
No one is fighting to get there,
so they can eagerly get to God's home.
Side stepping death is not an option
are you sure heaven is where you choose to roam.
We hear much talk about home coming
about in my father's house
I recall hearing about ones heavenly abode
But if God called, you'd cry why me
and beg oh God not tonight.
Why do many hunger to go to heaven;
yet no one hungers to die.
Do people muse the reasons why
they sustain life on earth,
or when death occur, why you grieve and cry.
Death is an unnatural process for humans,
though temporarily a part of life.
The thought of death is disturbing and haunting,
Implemented by Satan causing mental,
physical and emotional strife.
Stop, think and be reasonable,
think about what you do,
to help determine is it life on earth
or is it truly heavenly life you choose.
Many hustle and bustle to maintain life each day.
By working or starting a business of their own
in so many different ways.
You have savings, investments and retirement plans
and money set aside for future education too.
What's the purpose for these future earthly plans
if heaven is the desired thought in view.
When fatal illness strikes
I'm confused about that too.
Those longing for this heavenly home
always searching for cures and healing, it's true.
Not to mention the common cold,
a virus, allergy or flu.
When it comes to discomfort straight to the doctors
and that's a choice we all choose.
You take medication to lower your pressure.
Let it rise and let life go
Play around with diabetes
that's another sure way, to expire, you know.
You take supplements, vitamins and drink water
because these keep death at bey within.
There's Botox, surgeries, face and body lifts to defy
the aging process and gravity that sets in.
What about starvation that's another easy way out.
That would surely be a short cut to heaven.
if only you could ignore those hunger pains
when they come about.
Our bodies have the ability to renew itself
over and over again you see.
Taking antibiotics isn't helping
when you're badly wounded
Isn't heaven your desired destiny.
You would think you would allow
the infection to set in
allowing the bacteria to roam about.
To help you take a short cut to heaven,
isn't that what your praises are all about
When life is threaten in any way
Our life we fight to sustain
Every option we consider is to maintain life
for on earth we're trying to remain
What about those out of the body experiences,
those professing being in the presence of God.
Isn't that the long awaited desire,
yet you return to earth where God said you belong.
You still buy homes, cars and jewelry
Some things over time appreciate.
But what about this heavenly bliss
are you deliberately making your self wait
These earthy pursuit should never take presidence
over spiritual things
strong desires of this heavenly home
is not strong enough to give up
what earthly life brings.
Most feel the need for these earthly accomplishments
and entertainment and will strongly justify
Why they should follow their life's desire
to the full first while young
Our failing years is the more acceptable time
to lay down and die.
That's the time most look forward to
being called to this heavenly home
That's an easier pill to swallow
and to believe earth to man was on loan.
God's original future plans for mankind
is to reside forever upon the earth he owns
So how can we be call back to heaven a place we've
never been and now call it our home.
I find it so ironic for all people
there is no place like home
Our behavior proves we desire life on earth
and not a distant place unknown.
That is quite natural and reasonable
After all we were made from earths dust.
From dust we came and will return
God's word we must believe and trust.
no more will we perish
death on earth we deal with day to day.
death only exist upon this planet
In God's heaven death never took place, I must say
If anyone is deserving of instant death
that would be Satan himself, you see
This proves death never occurred in heaven
For Satan would be the first to go and no longer be.
Why store up earthy treasures
when your focus is out in space
because in God's realm those material things
will never have a place.
Yet Jehovah promises us life everlasting
on a paradise earth you see.
He clearly states he created the earth to be inhabited,
where the righteous will forever be.
So when it's said of God, he called you home,
that is what many want to believe and say
Jehovah created the earth, where he wants his
human creation to stay.
No more pain and suffering.
No more death it's true.
No one ever having to say they're sick.
Are the promises God said he'll do.
The bible says God is a God of love
and no evil is found in him too
Death on the other hand is an evil act
that is associated with Satan, it's true.
Many find it easy to blame all suffering on God,
Satan is the master of deception you see
How ingenious he is to convince most Christians
That God is responsible for all life's woes and travesties
Blaming God for all misfortunes
and heinous acts too;
those believing those untruths
yet, in heaven with God they yearn to do
On earth we call that abuse or a crime.
Many take out an exparte.
Yet you tell the world with much conviction
in heaven with God, you rather stay.
Does that make sense. It doesn't make sense to me
A God of love, justice, righteousness and graciousness
who cause pain and suffering,
is where you forever want to be
When people explain life in heaven I'm convinced
they're truly explaining the desired
life on earth you see.
That's why they'll never take a short cut to heaven
For in denial, earth is where they long to be.
