A life without love fills our souls
with seeds of emptiness and doubt
and discouragement
and we tend to forget what it is like
to hug or to hold someone in our arms
And as time goes on our hearts slowly
drain
like a withering flower without rain
for lack of nourishment to our souls
But every now and then there
is a time
to re-evaluate everything
And one can only hope that
a more promising
tomorrow will arrive soon
So that our hearts can be overflowing like
a river again that is filled
with an abundance of love and adoration to
have that opportunity to love once more
from the
inner depth of our hearts and souls again
So that we may never have to feel
like
a withering flower without rain
I do know the road ahead can be more promising
and rewarding so I will continue replenish
and nurture my mind with positive inspirations
