Menagerie of Memories

A menagerie of memories
Always splash upon my mind...
Instantly I'm taken back
To another place in time.

Daffodils are dancing
In a wildly fragrant wind...
A collection of caresses
Stroll across my heart again.

Ahh, in your arms is always where
I will always long to be...
For here I feel the warmth of love
Invoked by your memory.

Moon hugged nights and sun kissed days
Under blue romantic skies.
Stars of unrestricted passion
Are reflected in your eyes.

The wild honey of your kisses...
The feel of your hand in mine...
Each memory will follow me
Until at last I cross that line.

Life does go on and I have, too,
Yes, my body is alive...
But it's this menagerie of memories
That gives me reason to survive.

I love and miss you so much, Ish.
Happy Anniversay, my love
