I believed and therefore I spoke,
No longer tired and awoke;
We have the same faith in spirit,
All for God in our merit.
That is why we also believe,
Knowing just what we will receive;
Therefore we are able to speak,
The heavenly kingdom we seek.
The one who brought our Lord back,
To life has nothing He does lack;
Will also bring us back through Christ,
For suffering when sacrificed.
He will show us to the Father,
Showed as His sister or brother;
Allowing us to proceed in,
The narrow gate cleansed from all sin.
But all of this is for your sake,
As you sleep and while awake;
The kindness of God overflows,
All because He already knows.
It will produce even much more,
Affecting both the rich and poor;
Thanksgiving to glory of God,
As we give Him honor and laud.
This is why we are encouraged,
Although outwardly we wear out;
Inwardly we renew each day,
Because we do trust and obey.
Our suffering is real light,
And it was not much of a fight;
For producing endless glory,
Far from the derogatory.
It is greater than anything,
That our fantasies can bring;
We look not for things we can see,
Rather unseen things that will be.
