 Penniluck's legacy

I Won`t Tell

I Won`t Tell

I'll rock you a little longer,
I'll lullaby in style,
I'll pick up my walking stick,
We'll dance for a little while.
And if you promise not to cheek,
I will sing you fast asleep.
So couthy doon within my arms,
I can watch your sleepy charms,
Shaded lashes on your skin,
 Mr Sandman just crept in.
Tonight in fairyland you'll dwell,
Late to bed, but I won't tell.
So until the morning light,
Kiss me now and say goodnight.

Penniluck McGinnis

Inspired by a small verse about grandmothers on Facebook
