Fret not about evildoers,
Do not envy their wicked things;
For most of them are just boozers,
Only minor pleasure it brings.
They will quickly dry up like grass,
And wither away like green plants,
Dissipate in the air like gas,
Or carried off by many ants.
Trust in the Lord and do good things,
Practice being faithful to live;
See the reward that Heaven brings,
As you are learning to forgive.
Always be happy with the Lord,
And see desires of your heart;
As you remain in one accord,
He will be giving a new start.
Entrust your ways unto the Lord,
Trust Him and He will act for you;
Let nothing said ever ignored,
Always remain faithful and true.
God will make your righteousness shine,
A light brighter than the noon sun;
Giving you new sight if you are blind,
With a day that is never done.
Surrender yourself to the Lord,
And just wait patiently for Him;
Then show He is loved and adored,
Your lights no longer shining dim.
Desert anger, abandon rage,
Never become preoccupied;
By sinners in a tiger cage,
After they have cheated or lied.
