Remember your leaders, who spoke,
The Word of the Lord onto you;
Think of the burdened heavy yoke,
He is living with each day through.
Think about how their lives turned out,
Their faith having to imitate;
And each day they do shed some doubt,
With so much time to meditate.
Our world is a changing place,
Culture accepts morally not;
Courts and congress have shed their grace,
On what God said will make you rot.
Jesus Christ is the same today,
As yesterday and forever;
As long as you love and obey,
His love for you will not sever.
The more you accept worldly things,
For you might get carried away;
With unfamiliar teaching brings,
That will be causing you to stray.
Gaining inner strength from the Lord,
Through God and His loving kindness;
While you are in one accord,
And He will send His blessedness.
Strength does not come rules about food,
Rules do not help those who comply;
Instead it is more to the mood,
That any person would imply.
We do not have a place on earth,
But looking towards our new home;
The value having far more worth,
Than anyplace here that we roam.
Do not forget to do good things,
For others be willing to share;
For all the blessings that it brings,
Shows the Lord that you really care.
