Enemies will not come near,
Although a thousand may fall;
For the fact that You they fear,
Are frightened to hear Your call.
O Lord, You look through my eyes,
To see punishment of evil;
Although they wear a disguise,
You see they are the devil.
You, O Lord are my safe place,
For the Most High is Your home;
And You, O Lord have shed Your grace,
Upon all the places I roam.
No harm ever comes to me,
No sickness enters my house;
Since diseases cannot be,
Entering a righteous spouse.
You put angels in command,
To protect me in all ways;
Accomplish decrees in hand,
Continued through all my days.
You step on lions and snakes,
Trample on them to their death;
And swallow them with earthquakes,
Compressed unto their last breath.
For the love, You rescued me,
Protecting me with Your name;
And I am able to see,
I am Yours as You proclaim.
When you call me I answer,
And be with You through all times;
Sing praises as a dancer,
Thankful you forgive my crimes.
I will please You through my life,
Satisfy in what I do;
As I am enduring the strife,
For laud and honor to You.
