Belly Aching Leaves of Wilt

SB-17461628
  The wind caresses sweet
Like breath of precious born
And sunshine dawns so gold
Denying pain in store
Life has a way about it
Just makes you wince throughout
Like paling fields of glory
and lingering pangs of doubt
Oh cumbersome of life’s sweet lows
Upon the thick of bark
Whose belly aching leaves of wilt
Once stood so tall and stark
But for the calloused pangs and strife
Life’s precious you’d not see
And colors would not come to play
Nor waves lap in the sea
Sweet love of Jesus
Sweet prayers before sleep
The lessons that we come upon
Are treasures meant to keep
Place the tears that trickle down
So deep inside within
Upon the leaves of wilting vines
Your life will now begin
