God favored His land,
And restored their wealth;
Removed guilt by hand,
For spiritual health.
Their sins forgiven,
Laid aside the wrath;
To get to Heaven,
Showing the right path.
God turned away rage,
Looked on with favor;
Starting a new page,
As God the Savior.
The anger must end,
Not last forever;
But as God and friend,
So trust not sever.
Generations come,
Generations go;
As to prosper some,
Where the blessings flow.
God gave salvation,
Showed mercy and grace;
Made a foundation;
For a holy place.
For I want to hear,
What His desire;
As He comes near,
He does require.
I must not back slide,
Never more grumble;
Rather to abide,
And to be humble.
Have mercy and truth,
A righteous peace;
Not to be uncouth,
And let ill will cease.
