The farmer that plants a few seeds,
Maybe only has a few needs;
But will also have a small yield,
Bringing the harvest from the field.
But the farmer blest by the Lord,
Will harvest a better reward;
In the spring when He does labor,
Will reap enough to give his neighbor.
Everyone should always give,
Enough to help others to live;
Whatever for you to decide,
That to God who you can confide.
Feel not sorry for what you gave,
And no idols made you a slave;
For God wants a cheerful giver,
And a solid true believer.
God will give overflowing love,
Which will shine His kindness thereof;
And over time you will soon learn,
Of the abundance in return.
You will have all that you will need,
With an abundance to succeed;
You will have more as to do more,
For helping the ones who are poor.
The righteous person freely gives,
So that any needy one lives;
Righteousness remains forever,
His bond with God will not sever.
God gives the seed to the sower,
While God becomes the grower;
And food to those who need to eat,
As well as shoes to fit their feet.
For God always does signify,
To be fruitful and multiply;
So the more you give and believe,
The richer returns you receive.
