He Got You
To my handsome grandson Kieran who is 17 years old today. Have a wonderful day son love always Nannie xxx
Tall and handsome bonnie laddie
Looks just like his lovely Daddy
Off to college he`ll be soon
Reaching for the fullest moon
Kieran - well he has it all
Lucky lad has brains as well
He`ll be all that he can be
Kieran is of course like me
He will love a lass someday
She will steal his heart away
Kieran`s always good and kind
And I know that he will find
All the dreams his heart can dream
Today as he turns seventeen.
Can`t believe the time has flown
And this lad is full grown
Hope he knows I love him well
And wish him luck the truth to tell
That`though I live so far away
I won`t forget my boy today
Have a happy birthday son
Enjoy the moment, every one
Soon it will be in the past
Make this birthday stretch and last
I still remember when your Dad
Was also such a young sweet lad
Full of dreams of what he`d do
His dreams came true for he got you.
