Perranporth is another beach in Cornwall
With miles of golden sand I do recall,
A great place for just about everything
Sailing, snorkelling and of course surfing.
There`s something unique about this beach
It has a pub which is within your reach,
It`s the only beach with a bar on in the UK
So if you wish to have a drink you may.
`The Watering Hole` is what it is named
And for its uniqueness it is famed,
On this vast beach it stands so proud
And it always attracts a very big crowd.
It was strange how the storm ravaged this beach
The Watering Hole was just out of its reach,
The sand once again was torn from the shore
But The Watering Hole stood untouched for sure.
The sea could have come and washed it away
But luck was on its side that stormy day,
As it wasn`t touched to everyone`s surprise
Now it really is a sight for sore eyes.
