And What It Gave Our World Of Poetry....
I got on to poetrypoem
to touch base,
and no sooner in
such sadness did face!
Goodbye Janie
it read like a neon sign,
I thought maybe
due to troubles she had to....
from writing resign!
My heart was beating so fast right then
what in the world now i wonder,
i couldn't hurry enuff to find out why and when
we'd read the last post from her!
But this beautiful person
sadly left earth it said so bold,
{ She Was Taken To Heaven }
no more pain in peace her hands....
over her tired heart fold!
Unlike me she was very private
and a lot she didn't share,
but you could come here and sit
over the years and her heart 2us she'd bear!
Ashamed to say
can't remember how it came about,
but 1 sweet day
we became monkey pals without a doubt!
Now i sit here
and look all around,
my monkey pal i fear
is nowhere to be found!
My tears much faster fall
than my body can swing,
hard for 1 monkey to swing without help from the other at all
how can this happen such a thing?
But she's here still
she's within all she touched so,
she sends down a feather quill
from her wings to tell us to let the poetry flow!
Our Island Princess Floats With Angel Feather
Off To Be With Her Heavenly Prince,
But It's Not Goodbye Aloha Never
And It Will Never Be The Same Since....
