Memory Overload.

Now I’m a performance Poet

This means I recite, not read

But just recently I’ve been having

Trouble with my learning speed.

My mind sometimes goes blank

When I get up there on the stage,

Perhaps I’m going senile, 

Or, maybe its just my age.

I know the words are in there but

Sometimes I have a recovery jam,

Maybe like an old desktop PC

I’m just running out of RAM.
