Lazaretto

The journey of the heart is a tumultuous trek. Wading through obscurity with each and every step. The most ancient of credos which beckon to our ears, catch our eyes, and draw our tears.
So have no fear little heart of mine, for this big bad world ain’t got nothin on you. Buck up, and face these obstacles head on, so that they can be put in their proper place. Thoroughly defeated, and discarded in the doldrums of disgrace.
And I am fallen upon the ground, engaged in feverish petition. My wet tears have saturated the dry and thirsty dirt.
And oh, how profound is the sound of my own heart breaking, as it grows and stretches these boundaries that suppress me.
And the daily empowerment of His love has changed me. Filling and mending the cracks that have ravaged me.
For I am on a journey and it is formidable. And therefore I am in need of healing, in order to move forward.
