WHEN LIPS ARE SEALED

When lips are sealed
And no amount of beauty is left
To tell the whole world,

Rainbow's vibrant
How's surreal
And have no end

Horizon moves forward and forward
And eyes grow weary and thin
Like thread that dwindles fast

Can serenade linger in the dusk…
Giant cosmos shine with brilliance,
Galaxies go spiral,

Painted on canvas,
Tainted with shadows
Black and white

Smeared with faces
That grin
And better still,

With lips─sealed.

While supplications tickle the skies,
Beyond is sacred…
