Blessed is the person,
That does fear the Lord;
Favor he has won,
Being in one accord.
Being glad to obey,
All of the commandments;
Never tempted to stray,
From godly commitments.
His descendants grow strong,
The family is blest;
With doing nothing wrong,
Always doing their best.
Wealth and riches will be,
Always within his home;
Everyone can see,
They never go and roam.
Righteousness continues,
Forever and a day;
Purity he construes,
As to trust and obey.
His light shines in the dark,
Being a decent man;
Brightens up to embark,
Guiding him and his clan.
He is merciful and fair,
Compassionate and chaste;
Always willing to share,
But never to make haste.
One that is generous,
Will lend a helping hand;
Never is he envious,
Of neighbors in the land.
He earns an honest wage,
And he will never fail;
So calm never in rage,
With God he will prevail.
