Today we are going to the State fair
Second time in a week
From a boy always yearly went to the fair
Then it was called the Puyallup Fair
An Indian word meaning walk tell you drop
They try to sell you things made in China
New products that only work while in the fair
They also have a rodeo
Free rides on wild animals like bulls
I did that once why I write poetry
Full sentences are a problem for me
Always yearly I took home a chameleon or turtle
Sorta like Easter Bunnies things kept away from children
One year it was Snowball my white mouse
We went to the fair on a city bus
I was admiring snowball when he jumped for the box
My cousin Tim grabbed for snowball and his mouse
You got-tit, soon three mice were running around the bus
Women were pointing at us and we just raised our hands
Never did find the chameleon he changed colors
This year I am going to stick to Elephant ears
