'' Your Country Needs You ''
Wallace and Bruce,
Despite suffering abuse,
Refused point blank to give in,
Their belief in Scotland was so profuse,
Theirs was a battle they'd win.
In their rights they believed,
Victory was achieved,
Scotland stood tall and so proud,
For our fallen heroes the victors grieved,
With Independence we were endowed.
For hundreds of years,
We dispelled our fears,
As a nation we stood alone,
1707 brought us to tears,
When the privileged sold our souls and our stone.
Being dictated to by others,
Our ability this smothers,
This anomaly we have got to end,
Though you'll remain our sisters and brothers,
Our own needs we must always defend.
Our choice to elect,
The ones we select,
A society with equal shares,
Will give us the chance to enhance and perfect,
The running of our country's affairs,
Now we've seen the light,
We can put things right,
Our country can be ours once more,
Victory for the bravehearts is now in sight,
Our pride we can forever restore.
Please take note,
Utilise your vote,
To Scotland you must always be true,
V for Victory is what we must promote,
