I will thank the Lord at all times,
Especially with uphill climbs;
As my lips and tongue will always,
Lift up my voice while I praise.
My soul will boast about the Lord.
Because He is loved and adored;
Those who are oppressed will hear,
As they rejoice and rid their fear.
Praise of the greatness of the Lord,
That I remain in one accord;
Let me highly honor His name,
As I go about and proclaim.
I go to the Lord to assist,
When afflictions seem to persist;
He responds as I feel and hear,
His presence by calming my fear.
All who will look to Him will glow,
And receive insight as to know;
Their face will not cover with shame,
When they honor and they proclaim.
When a poor man who has called out,
Because he is filled with much doubt;
The Lord will hear as he grumbles,
And save him from all his troubles.
His messenger will camp around,
Those who fear maybe hear a sound;
As he waits to see a problem,
Then he will go and rescue them.
Taste and see that the Lord is good,
Helping you to do as you should;
Bless the person, who takes refuge,
Before problems are a deluge.
Fear the Lord of those who belong,
For with Him nothing can go wrong;
Those who fear are never in need,
Since God supplies abundant seed.
