We're suppose to be enjoying the beauty of fall
But here where I live there isn't much of that at all
There is still a lot of humidity and a lot of the heat
You can almost boil an egg along the sidewalks and the street
It is either rain or sunshine and all that rain makes it after just worse
Nothing much has changed its more like summer and still is hot and perverse
That for me is not fun at all because I rather that it was more like fall
This hot weather just persists and I only wish that the weather was nicer that's all
I just can't stand all the summer months. They're so hot as hell
I feel more like chicken drumstick just roasting away and that's not swell
What kind of life is for me to live all the summer months angry and hot
The city where I live is now to me more like hell than a heavenly spot.
