For Kelly

Butterflies have covered Kelly’s eyes.
Kelly is resting, she is at peace.

She has the qualities that butterflies silently keep.
With wings of hearts,
They are as fragile as a night fragrance.

When Kelly was a child.
She would think of them, at bedtime.
They would fly around her room,
And through her thoughts they would zoom!

These tiny little creatures,
Most beautiful!
Would rise & fall, floating on blues skies.
Into her memories they can be found.

Now, Kelly is sleeping,
The butterflies have taken her eyes for a ride,
Over & through the rainbow, each wing is washed with wonderful colour.
Enchantment & dreams will live in her heart.

Though times now may seem a bit dark.
Think of her loved ones.
And she will fly nigh.
Her butterfly tears, like the morning dew.
Remember her by this & she will help you get through.
Be strong for Kelly!
