The fragile part that makes up you
Sometimes gives up but still beats through
Your circumstance of never ending
Your need to grasp mere comprehending
Here feelings run deep with needs
Love to fill, to intercede
A wayward soul that needs a break
The light of day from nightmares wake
Pressed you are to let GOD in
Lost in state of could have been
Different now but waste you do
Waste away what could be you
A smile to birth upon someone
A want unmet if one just one
Took the time to listen to
A moment now to help them through
Though pain runs out its course in time
It hurts no less as your sidelined
Away from life you want to live
If one would lend or time they'd give
Alone becomes your only friend
As daylight dims and nearly ends
A hand reached out will help one mend
Yours or theirs right now not when
An ear to hear, embrace that fled
Not felt as once when child spoon fed
For child you are though old became
Your mindset now of living pains
Breaking through your heart life seared
Came one who knows abandoned fears
As He did too when mankinds hand
Reached out for help, sought promised land
