Of seasons past, someday By EDWIN FLORES, www.PoetryPoem.com/poetry2231 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
There comes to mind this day, of when
A warm hand held as time did lend
Soft was hers much softer too
Voice that healed my need, my due
Years passed by as aged became
A man once boy, both one the same
With needs to learn as life fulfilled
What all do seek, in heart to fill
The days of wine became of her
Roses at times as memory stirs
Colors pastel and fall attire
Stay to calm a hearts desire
Remember well quiet moments
That calmed the storms of soul's torment
As all would seize to matter in
A heart empty of could have been
Of seasons past that comes each year
A chance to live so real appears
As if they still are here with you
Here again to make anew
Of seasons past, someday
Of seasons past, someday
