Seems like only yesterday
That I gave birth to you
Your Auntie Maggie came with me
To take you to be born
Great Uncle Peter helped to carry
The stretcher on that morn
Your Dad was working far away
So could not see your birth
You were ten days old my boy
Before he saw you first.
Great gran fell in love with you
Said you looked my double
I thought oh dear my poor wee lad
Now that will bring you trouble
Time passed you suffered much my boy
And dealt with so much pain
But now at last you`re happy
With a lassie all your ain
Lisa-Marie must love you well
For she became your lady
And is giving you, you lucky lad
A bonnie little baby
Who soon will come into the world
For you to love and hold

I am sorry I don`t see you
