Romeo and Juliet

Romance and tragedy the two are kin,
One causes pleasure the other much strife,
Man meets woman knowing their love is sin,
Eau-de-vie, brandy, the water of life,
Overfilling chalice they both got drunk,
Arguments between their friends, some got killed,
Naive beliefs of a chic and her hunk,
Deep-rooted vendettas, lots of blood spilled,
Jesting they both had childish behavior,
Ultimate consequence they had to pay,
Lord Shakespeare did not give them a savior,
Its unfortunate that they died that way,
Embracing in a cold cemetery,
Their love was so brief but legendary.
