Bird of Paradise
A human and bird have much in common,
Rainforest's bird of paradise call mate,
Tail feathers dancing just like a woman,
On the ground the male makes a gift to bait,
Finery he weaves from leaves and petals,
Singing her a song he puffs out his chest,
Eyes on her, his affection not subtle,
Daring to win her heart, he tries his best,
Under his right wing is a fresh bouquet,
Corsage he gives her hoping she will wear,
Trying to show her his romantic way,
It might work but sometimes she doesnt care,
Our love is similar to that of birds,
Nowadays a man needs much more than words.
