coming to life
I am in awe, just now
here I am
a remnant of experience
This skin in which I remain
it hurts and I am fragile
I am empty
Numb and vulnerable
slowly recovering
someone convinces me
To lay still
heal and be calm
somebody loves me
I am held by an unseen force
he is gentle
yes, he is my savior
I look thru these eyes
and I feel with this heart
that I am carefully given
My body is light
the storm has receded
tranquility carry's my spirit
I take bread from his hand
and I have drank wine of peace
the dragons have vacated
A breath of life returns
the rock has been removed
weightless and I breathe
