~"Jesus Tears"~
Is a poetry form created by Dorian Petersen Potter.
It consistes of 9 lines.Syllable count.Rhyme is optional.
Subject: Can be love,life, spiritual or uplifting in nature.
Stanzas: As many as desired, but at least 2.
Line 1...1 syllable
Line 2...2 syllables
Line 3...3 syllables
Line 4...4 syllables
Line 5...5 syllables
Line 6...4 syllables
Line 7...3 syllables
Line 8...2 syllables
Line 9...1 syllable
2- ~The Tree~
" The tree " poetry form, is a poetry style created by Dorian Petersen Potter,
on September, 20,2009.
This form starts with 8 lines that begin with 1 syllabel, increasing until the 8th line, you
end up with 8 syllables.On line 9 you use the first word from the stanza, but write it
horizontally by letter, followed by the two words that were line 2 of each stanza.It can
be one stanza or multiple ones.There is no rhyme scheme but this is a bonus if done.
And the subject is optional, up to the poet.
3- " Blessed Cross"
The " Blessed Cross" is a poetry form created by Dorian Petersen Potter,
on October 14,2009.
This form consist of 4 Quatrains, and 1 sestet of 6 refrain lines each.
Three quatrains go down and they can have either a syllable count of 6, or 8
syllables . Consistent syllable count, tha means that if you choose 6 syllables
for the first quatrain stanza, the other 2 quatrains have to be done with the
same 6 syllables count.If you decide to do the first quatrain with 8 syllables,
the other 2 quatrain stanzas then have to be done with 8 syllables too.
Only one Quatrain is done with a syllable count of 12 and that goes across to
form the cross shape.All four Quatrains are done in couplet lines.
Pattern scheme goes like this:
First Quatrain....6 or 8, (done in couplet lines of either syllable count chosen 6 or 8)
Second Quatrain...12 syllables (done in couplet lines)
Third Quatrain...6 or 8 (done in couplet lines.The same syllable count as quatrain 1)
Fourth Quatrain...6 or 8, (done in couplet lines.The same syllable count as quatrain 1 and 2)
1 Sestet(6 last lines of poem) they go as follow:
First line: First line(refrain) of first Quatrain is repeated here
Second line: Second line( refrain) of first Quatrain is repeated here
Third line: First line(refrain) of second Quatrain is repeated here.
Fourth line: Second line(refrain) of second Quatrain, is repeated here
Fifth line: First line(refrain) of third Quatrain is repeated here.
Sixth line: Second line(refrain) of third Quatrain is repeated here.
Subject: Spiritual or uplifting in nature.
It has to be center aligned to show the form of the cross.I observed that the
6 syllable count, shows better the beauty of the cross shape than the 8 syllable
count, but that's only my opinion.I like them both ways.You make your choice.
4-~'Star Of David' ~
The 'Star of David' is a new poetry
form created by Dorian Petersen Potter,
on October 22,2009.
This poetic concrete form consitst of 19 lines.
Rhyme is optional.This is left to the poet.
The syllable count for this format is as follows:
At the very top and going down and across, begin with thes number of syllables:
1,2,3,4,5 and then continuing down and across do 11,10,8,8,7,8,9,10, 11,5,4,3,2, and end with 1 syllable.
This form has to allign in the center, if you have done correctly the syllable count lines, you'll see and have a very pretty star shape. I decided to call it the ' Star of David' because that's what it looked like to me,after I've done it.
Subject: Spiritual, inspirational or uplifting in nature.
5- "Sonnetina Rispetto"
The "Sonnetina Rispetto" is a new poetry form
created by Dorian Petersen Potter
on September 8,2009.
This form has 14 lines with 8 syllables each.
It can be written in 3 quatrain stanzas and a couplet or
with an Octave(8) and a Sestet(6) lines.
The rhyme scheme is as follows: A1,A2,B1,c,c,B2,A1,A2,d,d,B1,B2,A1,A2.
The capitals A1,A2,B1 and B2...stands for the refrain lines in the poem.
Any subject.

6- ~ "Candleholder Of Light"
"The Candleholder Of Light" is a poetry
form, created by Dorian Petersen Potter,
on September 22,2009.
It consists of 2 Quatrains, 1 Quintet, and 1 Sestet stanzas.
All 4 stanzas are separated in between.
Lines:19
Centered to show its shape
Syllable count: It varies as stated below for this format.
Any subject desired.
Stanza 1, First Quatrain:
Line 1- A(refrain) 5 syllables
Line 2- B(refrain) 4 syllables
Line 3- c ... ........4 syllables
Line 4- b.............5 syllables
C(refrain)...4 syllables
B(refrain)...4 syllables
e..............5 syllables
j.............. 7 syllables
b...............8 syllables
A/B (refrains) repeat line 1 and line 2
of first quatrain here, and separate both
lines using a comma,or semicolon, and
that finishes this format.
When done right, this poem shows
the shape of a candleholder.
7.~"Key To My Heart"~
'Key to my Heart' is a new poetry form, created on August,26,2010, by
Dorian Petersen Potter.
This form has a total of 22 lines. And the pattern is: 1.2.2.2.2.Then line 6 is: 2 syllables,8 spaces, 2 syllables again, then you go next line, 8.8.6.6.5.4.3.2.2.2.3.3.2.2.2.1. Please, no commas, periods,etc. it just mishapes this kind of poetic form.
Rhyming is optional.

8.~"The Candle of Hope"~
"Candle of Hope" is a new poetry style, created by
Dorian Petersen Potter, on October 19,2009
The pattern for this style goes like this:
First start with the wick of the candle and that's 9 line in total.
Syllable count for the wick is: 1.2.3.4.5.4.3.2.1.
Then the body of the candle is 20 lines in total.
The syllable count is: 6 syllables in each line.
And the format is: A1,2,3,4,A1,6,7,8,A1,10,11,12,A1,14,15,16,A1,18,19,20.
The bottom,(line 21)that's the last line, at the end of candle(candleholder)consists
of 12 syllables and is composed from lines A1 and line 2.These two lines combined together form the base of the candle or candleholder.Now these two lines can be separated either by a period,semi-period or a comma.This is the poet's choice.
Rhyme is optional.
Subject:It must be either spiritual,uplifting or inspirational.
9.***~The "Vessel Of Light"~***
The "Vessel of Light" is a poetry form, created by Dorian Petersen Potter, on June,17,2010.
First it consists of 10 lines (wick) and the syllable count is...1.1.2.3.4.5.4.3.2.1
Then leave one or two spaces between the wick and the vessel or container.
The Vessel(body)consists of 15 lines and the syllable count is...5.8.8.12.12.11.10.10.10.11.

Subject: spiritual,inspirational or uplifing in nature.
The entire poem must be center-aligned to see clearly the whole vessel shape.

10.~"Cup Of Life"~
The "Cup of Life" is a poetry style created by Dorian Petersen Potter,
and it is a celebration to life in every way and form.
The construction of this form consists first of 11 lines and the
syllable count is...11.10.8.8.6.5.5.5.4.3.2.(that's the upper
portion of the cup)
Next you can repeat any line from line 5 to 11, to do the stem of the cup,
(thats the part where we hold a cup or goblet from)letter by letter,
but going in a vertical way.The bottom part of the cup is done by repeating any line
after the last one you repeated previously, but this time doing it
in a horizontal way,that's below the vertical line of the cup.

Subject: it must be spiritual,inspirational and of uplifting
nature.This 'cup" is a "celebration life" in every way, so you
can use it for birthdays,anniversaries,graduations,love,and even
about nature,but everything has to be done in a very positive
manner,partaing to celebrating life.
This form, has to be center-aligned in the page.
11. The "Skeleton Key"
The "Skeleton Key" is a poetry form created by
Dorian Petersen Potter, September,17,2010.
It consists of:
