I cannot forget the journey
that I had the
opportunity to share with you
And with every day that goes by
I try my
hardest to be a lot more like you
And from what I can recollect in my memory
with all of the
conversations that you had shared with me
There were a few things that stuck
out in my mind the most from the
way that you taught me how to live
my life with compassion and empathy
along with true strength and dignity
Because of the thoughts that you had
instilled
into me when I was just a boy that
allowed
me to become the man that I am today
And for that alone I will forever be grateful
And I will proudly carry the family torch
with pride for as long as I live
and it is all because of you
and the way that you loved me unconditionally
